Browsing through the free section of Craigslist can be dangerous. There are ads for used mattresses, beds, and anything else full of germs. However, you sometimes find great deals, like this one for a free palm tree!
I decided to click the ad because I always love seeing how big these are when the ad says you must remove it yourself. I saw one for a hundred year old oak tree that was over 12 feet tall. How do they expect you to move it? Anyway, the picture attached to this ad got my attention.
An Acura being crushed by this palm tree. It clearly has landed on top of this thing and did plenty of damage. Also, ironically, this palm tree looks rough. It looks to have fallen apart and lost much of its value. But then the ad gets better!
Must remove before 5pm when owner gets back!!
Is the owner of the car referring to himself in first person? Is this ad from some crappy tree removal crew who had an accident and need someone to clean it up? I need a back story! How does this even happen? I came to Oppo since you guys are great at creating back stories. I must know! I contacted the ad but never heard back so I am even more curious than before!
